The closing ceremony of the Reading Week celebration and the inauguration of the Library Club was conducted at T B Ninan Hall on 25/6/2025 at 2:30 PM. The programme was jointly coordinated by the UC Central Library and Malayalam Department. The function was inaugurated by Mr. P V Shajikumar, winner of the Kendra Sahitya Academy Yuva Puraskar. He also released the logo of the newly formed Library Club, ‘Granthika’. The ceremony was graced by Dr. K P Ouseph IFS (Manager), Dr. Mini Alice (Principal), library club members, faculty, and students. Prizes for various competitions and the Best Library User Award were distributed during the event. The Reading Week Celebration 2025 at U C College was a grand success. The establishment of the Library Club ‘Granthika’ marks a new chapter in the college’s academic and cultural journey.
